We are Don and Dave, both passionate about the art and craft of film making. That desire to learn more about making movies led to both us independently joining the Reading Film and Video Makers club in 2012, where we soon decided it would be a good idea to join forces. We’ve been making films together ever since.
For Don, it all started at 16 when an English teacher showed his class Roman Polanski's Macbeth. "We'd read the book and seen the play on stage but the film was a life changing experience for me because it showed what a powerful medium film is. Polanski used the camera to take us exactly where he wanted, making us feel all the emotions he wanted us to feel. I knew right then that I wanted to do that too"
Everyone who knows Dave well will tell you of his technical ability. His need to figure out how things work combined with an interest in videography have driven him to learn all that he can about the technical challenge of film making. "I like the challenge of taking an idea and bringing it to the big screen by choosing the right equipment and settings to achieve a certain look"."
